NATURANA | History

90s | Corsetry and lingerie reinvent themselves, thanks to a small fibre already used in sports and active wear. The microfibre, a miniaturized synthetic fibre, gives underwear a soft feel, a silky appearance, and allows the skin to breath more easily, hence the term "second skin." NATURANA is one of the first German manufactures to use microfibres in their collections.


2000 \| The first series with microfibres, developed from Nylstaer with the Meryl brand name, was comprised of a moulded bra, a body, briefs, and a tanga.
