Washing instructions vary depending upon material, so please take care to follow the below listed instructions in order to insure the longest product life span possible. As a basic rule, bras should not be cleaned in boiling hot water unless otherwise indicated for instance with maternity bras. Who wants to wash a wired bra in a regular washing machine? This should only be done with a special washing machine bag. It is also possible that, after frequent washing, the wire itself in a wire bra could become damaged or exposed thus possibly damaging the washing machine itself.
